Playgroup

The playgroup meets on the church property in Baldivis every Tuesday from 9:30am - 11:30am. This group provides interaction for mums and their little ones (0-4 yrs). The goals of playgroup are two fold :

For Parents

• Meeting new friends
• Reducing isolation or loneliness
• Developing new self confidence
• Acquiring a feeling of belonging
• Having a special time with their children
• Discovering new ideas fro extra fun at home
• Developing a greater understanding of children and what being a parent is all about
• Help build a support network / social network

For Children

• Fun with play activities
• New friends
• New experiences
• Self confidence and self expression
• More ways to find out about the world around them
• How to get along with other people
• Socialisation skills, enhancing child development
