Following is an excerpt from an email I received from Pastor Steve Furtick's office on Sunday morning in response to an email I had sent him regarding our upcoming Sun Stand Still campaign:

"Hearing what God is doing through the message of Sun Stand Still is always an encouragement. Continue to live boldly for Christ. We are praying and believing with you that God is going to make the sun stand still in Perth."

Sun Stand Still Campaign at The Baldivis Church

The campaign is commencing on Sunday 12th February during the Sunday morning service, and during the week in Connect Groups. This campaign is a challenge to exercise audacious prayer and to see the power of God released. Read Joshua 10:12-13.

This Sunday morning we are holding our first leaders meeting for 2012 at 11.30AM where we will outline the way ahead for Connect Groups through the year as well as how to best process the Sun Stand Still material.

Big Baptism Series This Sunday 5th February

While a number of people have indicated their plan to follow Christ through the waters of baptism this Sunday, I believe there are still others who are praying this through and will turn up on Sunday with their dry spare set of clothes and a towel and be baptized.

Last Sunday Morning at The Baldivis Church

Last Sunday morning I was the guest preacher at Eastlake Church in Mandurah, and in my absence Pastor Alethea as the preacher at The Baldivis Church, and preached on the subject of "Complete Surrender to God." This powerful message is available on CD and on our website on Youtube and podcast.

Our current Sunday evening series of messages is on "Angels." The second message in the series on Sunday evening dealt with the challenge to NOT drift away from an understanding and experience of the supernatural, the miraculous and the ministry of angels. Spires Development (Surrounding The Baldivis Church campus)

Before Christmas, the developers completed the huge limestone block wall on our southern boundary, and last week, they cleaned and sealed the wall on both sides. During February, the developers will be constructing the road along our western boundary adjoining Ingram Road, near the office. Once that road is constructed, they will be erecting a fence on our western boundary. Our top car park will once more be opened for use.
