Subject : MOPS is the place to be

Well i must apologize for not updating this for a while, but here i am at the end of yet another term and am very excited how the term has gone. We have covered topics from decluttering, massaging, birth order, love langauages and what to wear!. It has been very informative and fun to hear all the stories that come up in all these topics.

We have had more new mums join us so welcome to them and at present are full in our MOPPETS area. But if you dont happen to have your kiddies with you on a MOPS morning then please come along. We are starting a waitlist for mummies with children until we can find some more helpers to help care for our precious little ones. If you have a friend that would love to come along then please get them to contact me or the office and we will place their name on our waitlist.

As we gear up for some downtime during our school holidays we are also planning and organising a bonza of a 4th term to finish the year when we come back. So plan to be there and not miss a thing.

I would like to thank all the girls who have helped with providing our yummy morning tea each fortnight. I know i really appreciate your generosity.

Anyway take care during the holidays and have lots of fun with your kiddies.

Cheers

Merran

Subject : MOPS What a term we had!

Well term 1 is now finished and WOW what a term.

I just want to say what a blast we had with our first term of MOPS. We covered topics such as riding the roller coaster of Mothering and what that brings to our lives as Mothers. Donna (one of our Mentors) gave us a few tips on balancing life (with a little bit of humour wrapped in there!!) She is a woman who balances a high powered career, being a mother, being a wife, ministry work and family life, but does it with fun and a smile (well most of time anyway). Jane (our head mentor) who wears many hats in her day, one being a physio. Gave us a talk on pelvic floors!! (whisper!!) What every mother needs to hear to stand her in good stead later in life!

We did some fun creative activities that came in handy from fridge magnets to kids toys to nice little pretty things. Even the least bit crafty person attempted the simple things we did.

We had our first new baby born into our group. Welcome Genevieve!

All our little MOPPETS had fun with Leonie and the carers, producing some wonderful art work to be proud of.

So that is a little glimpse into baldivis MOPS for a term. If you would like to join us for lots of fun and some mummy time  we would love to have you along.

We start again on Wednesday 29th April at 9.30am. Please give the office a ring (95242805) prior and book your little one into MOPPETS.(Just so we have adequate carers for all our little ones). If you have a little one under 6 months you may have them with you if you wish. Please feel free to come along even if you are not bringing children along. It is for any mum that has children 0- 5 age group.

For just $40 a term you get nursery care, morning tea (and a yummy one at that), encouragement and some wisdom shared and a time to build some friendships with other Mums and some goodies.

Stay tuned for information coming for Term 2. Its going to be another exciting one.

cheers
